New Internal Title Field for Templates

A field for an internal title has been added to the email templates screen. This allows for an internal template name to be used rather than just the template subject. If no template name has been entered, the subject line will be continued to be used to reference the template. The template name is used internally only; guests will not see this name.

What it is

  • ReservationKey introduced a new “Internal Title” field on the email templates screen.
  • This field allows users to assign an internal-only name to each template, separate from the subject line seen by guests.

How it works

  • Templates now have two fields:
    1. Internal Title – for your organization and reference.
    2. Email Subject – visible to guests in their inbox.
  • If no internal title is entered, the system will automatically use the subject line internally.
  • The internal title never appears in guest-facing emails—it's purely for admin use.
  • Helps you quickly identify and manage templates, especially when you have many with similar subjects.
  • Improves template organization, sorting, and overall workflow efficiency.

How to use it today

You can now:

  1. Go to Email Templates in your ReservationKey dashboard.
  2. Click “Add Template” or edit an existing one.
  3. Enter a brief, meaningful Internal Title (e.g., “Arrival Reminder – Villa A”).
  4. Save—your template will now display this name in internal lists, making it easier to locate and manage.
