Whether you’re adding a new room or exploring advanced settings, the AI chat makes finding solutions simple and efficient — all while keeping our friendly human support just a click away.

Introducing Our New AI Chat Support Tool 🚀

We’re excited to introduce our brand-new AI Chat Support Tool, designed to make getting help faster, easier, and more intuitive than ever before.

For years, we’ve answered thousands of customer questions through support tickets, forums, blogs, and videos. Finding those answers later, though, hasn’t always been easy. Our new AI-powered assistant solves that by searching through all of our past content — so you can get the information you need instantly.

How to Access the AI Chat

Getting started is simple! Just click the AI Chat button located in the top right corner of your screen. This opens a convenient side panel where you can type in any question — for example:

“How do I add a new room?”

The AI will then search across five key information sources we’ve trained it on:

  1. Support tickets (Freshdesk)
  2. Forum posts
  3. Blog articles
  4. Video summaries
  5. User guides

It pulls together the best answer from these sources and presents it clearly in the chat panel.

A Peek Under the Hood

For those curious about how it works: Our AI draws from a huge collection of text-based documents — including all of our blog posts, user guides, and even video transcripts that have been summarized for clarity.

Each time you ask a question, the AI searches through this knowledge base to find the most accurate, relevant response. Everything it says comes directly from our real support history and resources — ensuring accuracy and consistency.

We’ve also organized all this data by year, so we can easily keep the information up to date as our system evolves.

Example: Adding a New Room

When we ask the AI “How do I add a new room?”, it walks through the exact same steps our human support team has outlined countless times before:

  1. Go to Properties → Rooms/Units
  2. Click Add Room/Unit
  3. Fill out the primary and additional settings
  4. Click Save

If you’re adding multiple rooms, the AI even suggests using the bulk add feature.

The best part? You can keep the chat panel open on one side while following the instructions in real time on the other.

Ask Follow-Up Questions

The AI chat is fully conversational. You can ask follow-up questions like:

“What’s the difference between a room and a fraction?”

The AI then explains the relationship between them and includes details about how they interact with features like the channel manager — providing complete, contextual help.

At the bottom of the chat panel, you’ll also find quick links to:

  • The User Guide
  • Our Video Library (organized by system section)
  • Blog posts and helpful tutorials

We’ve even added video summaries so you can skim the main points of any tutorial without watching the entire clip. (And yes — those summaries also help train the AI for better answers!)

Continuous Improvement Through AI Logs

Behind the scenes, we’re constantly refining our system. Every chat is logged in OpenAI’s ChatGPT platform, allowing us to:

  • Review which documents the AI used to find answers
  • Evaluate its reasoning process
  • Identify common support questions
  • Follow up with users when needed

We also link each conversation to the user and account that asked it — making it easy for our team to ensure every issue is fully resolved.

Mobile-Friendly and Easy to Use

Our AI chat tool works beautifully on mobile devices. When you open it on your phone, the chat takes up the full screen for easy navigation. You can quickly switch between the chat, the main app, and our content library — all from one place.

To close the chat, just tap the Exit Chat button, and you’ll return right to the app.
