Introducing V3: A Cleaner, Simpler, and More Modern Look for ReservationKey
We are excited to introduce our new Theme V3, a major system redesign focused on delivering a cleaner, simpler, and more modern user experience across both desktop and mobile. This update features a streamlined, single-row navigation bar, enhanced mobile scrolling, a simplified new account setup wizard, and significantly improved readability for key areas like reservation details and settings panels. Users are encouraged to switch to the V3 theme now via the Settings > Users section to enjoy the updated look and feel, which aims to make daily tasks smoother and more intuitive.

We’ve dedicated ourselves to simplifying the interface, modernizing the design, and creating a smoother experience, whether you're working on a desktop or managing things on the go.
Here is a brief walkthrough of the key improvements you'll find in the new system design.
1. A Streamlined Top Navigation
The first thing you’ll notice is a completely reconfigured navigation bar. We've simplified the entire top row, making it cleaner and more compact:
- Single-Row Design: The top navigation now fits into a single, cleaner row, taking up less screen space.
- Cleaner Statuses: The old assortment of logos and icons is gone. Notifications and badges (like the number of new reservations) are cleaned up and easier to read.
- Centralized Extras: Features like our AI chat, the user forum, and the rewards program are now conveniently located in a modern side drawer menu, keeping your main workspace clutter-free.
2. Cleaner Workflows, From Setup to Reservation
We've focused on improving the readability and experience for your most important daily tasks.
- Simplified New Account Setup: We’ve streamlined the setup wizard for new accounts. For existing users, you can easily rerun the wizard from the bottom of the screen to guide you through configuring a brand new account.
- Reservation Details: Clicking into a reservation is now significantly cleaner and easier to read. We've updated the default colors for statuses, and the entire process of changing a status is smoother than ever before.
- Floating Confirmation: When you save changes in a settings panel, you'll now see a modern floating confirmation message at the bottom of the screen, providing clean and immediate feedback.
3. Better Experience on Mobile and Settings Pages
We know many of you manage your business from a phone, so we paid special attention to the mobile experience and how our settings pages function.
- Enhanced Mobile View: The entire mobile interface is smoother. Calendar and month views are easier to slide with no scrollbar clutter. The four main navigation tabs are integrated into the side drawer and are now expandable into sub-drawers for deeper access.
- Cleaned Up Settings Panels: We've tidied up expandable sections and panels across all settings pages, making configuration easier to scan and read.

While the underlying functionality remains the same—we’ve just updated the look and feel to streamline your experience—we encourage you to switch over today!
Currently, the Reservations and Guests tabs are fully upgraded to this new style, and we will continue to update more pages in the coming weeks.
To switch to the new V3 theme:
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Select the Users section.
- Choose V3 as your theme option.
For now, older accounts can still switch back to prior themes, but we plan to convert all accounts to this new, improved look and feel in the next couple of months.
